DDYFA U15 League Cup Semi-Final
Forfar Athletic 2010 2-2 BSYFC 2010 (3-2 pens Forfar)
It was penalty shoot-out heartache for Breadalbane after both teams served up a nail biting semi-final that swung one way then the other.
Both sets of players gave absolutely everything they had. Despite an excellent surface at Guthrie Park, the teams struggled at times to produce the football they are capable of which was understandable given the occasion.
No shortage of quality for Breadalbane's second and the goal of the match however as Isaac delivered a pin point cross with the outside of his boot for David to bullet home a header.
Forfar would reply late on to force the tie to penalties. Sadly it wasn't to be as the opposition keeper pulled of a great save for the final the spot kick. Boys have made huge improvements this season and can hold their heads high after this peformance.
Lots of committed performances all over the park, with Gojus and Isaac both doing well. PoTM goes to the entire squad - as much for their efforts over recent months to get here.
Worth mentioning the performance of the young referee who was excellent throughout and allowed the game to flow.
The home support are a credit to the Club and sportingly clapped the visitors of the pitch. We wish Forfar Athletic Community Football Club the best of luck for their Final.
PKYFA U12 9V9 League
Scone Thistle 2013 v BSYFC 2013
Big thanks to opposition Coach Gary and PKYFA with referee Sean McGregor stepping in at short notice to allow the match to go ahead.
An even match some great saves from both goalies. The passing and communication from Breadalbane was the best Coach Matthijs has seen from the team so far.
Joint PoTM - Oliver was sharp in goals and kept a clean sheet today while team mate Wilf was laser focused which resulted in some great goals⚽️⚽️
