GIRLS PATHWAY - SAT 8th MAR (International Women's Day)

A minutes silence was held across all Youth fixtures this weekend following the tragic death of Poppy Atkinson from Kendal United U12s after being struck by a car whilst at a training session. Sending our love and condolences to Poppy’s family and everyone affected.

Montrose U14s 0 v 6 BSYFC U14s

A long trip to Montrose where the Girls turned in another cracking performance against a useful side.

The attitude, focus and work rate of the Girls in matches continues to improve. Lots of candidates for PoTM and despite another cleansheet, it went to striker Emma for leading the line brilliantly and getting a couple of assists.

BSYFC U12s vs  Carnoustie Panmure Youth U12s

Breadalbane found the going tough especially in the first half against strong opposition.

Girls stuck together, didn't let their heads go down, and played their way into the match for a much more even contest in the second half. The attacking play of Hannah and Zosia caused the visitors problems and Maria smashed in a cracking goal.

New signing Klara did well on debut and PoTM went to Freya who was an absolute rock in defence and shut down lots of dangerous attacks.

East Region U10 7v7 League

Glenrothes FCC Pink U10s v BSYFC U10s

First away game for the U10s and it was warm conditions inside the ThunderDome at Glenrothes.

Three exhausting thirds with no subs meant the Girls were pushed to their limits, but the effort they gave was amazing right till the end.

PoTM goes to Emelia, loads of goals ⚽⚽ and lots of hustle in midfield.

We would like to wish all our opponents - Montrose Youth Football Club, Carnoustie Panmure Youth & Glenrothes FCC Girls Team  the best of luck for the remainder of the season.
