SMALL SIDED TEAMS - SUN 17th NOV
Fun4s - PKYFA 4 aside festival
Not quite enough players to enter two teams so we joined forces with Bridge of Earn to form a second team and they did brilliantly. Some great runs from JJ and accurate passing from Alexandru. The other team of Cooper, Bailey, Ruben, Charlie and Jack were looked after by Coach Chris and they were all on fire. Scoring goals from all over the pitch and great work in defense.
Super5s - PKYFA 5 aside festival
One team entered for the Super 5s with great action pics captured by Coach Julie. The boys acquitted themselves well with Mukundi picking up Player of the Week for his all round play and great attitude.
Crieff 2015 vs BSYFC 2015 (U9s)
A fantastic match on Sunday against Crieff Juniors Football Club despite the rather chilly conditions. Players passed the ball when it was the right option and really worked their socks off. Some superb goals from both teams in a real nail biter of match.
Well done to Ruaridh getting Player of the Week for listening well at training and his work rate on the pitch today.
Auchterarder Reds 2014 v BSYFC 2014 (U10s)
A trip through to a bitterly cold Auchterarder. Despite illness sweeping through the squad, the guys made the effort to make today's game which shows their commitment despite not being fully fit.
Breadalbane battled but didn't quite have the same sharpness as in previous weeks and the team were pushed back for spells during the first half.
During half-time, the Coaches talked about the need to try to push further up the park to try and create more chances to score. The players responded and the second half saw a more spirited performance. Lewis grabbed a goal and the team created a lot more chances and were unlucky on quite a few occasions. The team never let their heads go down and made the game competitive by giving their all and always trying to play football.
Jamie in goals had some outstanding saves. Cubby, Luke, Lachlan and Liam worked away in defence. Max, Ethan, Lewis and Jacob got up and down the pitch well. Player of the Week went to Max in midfield who provided support to the defence and attack, executed some pin point passing and showed good skills on the ball.
Every game is a learning opportunity for this group and a huge positive was that the team stuck together and didn't let their heads go down which shows real maturity and great camaraderie.
BSYFC 2013 v Letham Real 2013 (U11s)
Despite some frost, both sets of Coaches were happy that the pitch was playable and what a match the teams produced !! At times the play was out of this world. Although it was freezing cold but everyone put in a great shift and the 1-2 ‘s were amazing to watch with players putting into practice the scanning before receiving the ball that has been worked on in training.
Coach Matthijs was delighted " Both as a team and as individual players, they have improved incredibly. Not only in matches but they also now show a real eagerness at training. All of them are champions!"
Player of the Week again for showing great technique and passion in this game was Nestor. Two smashing goals from Paul and Nathan ⚽⚽. Thanks to Brooklyn who was a great addition to the team and special thanks to the Letham team and Coaches for making it such a great match.
