Fun4s - PKYFA 4 aside festival

Two teams took part on Sunday with some great football on show and lots of fun. Ruben earned Player of the Week for his work rate and ability to shrug of challenges even when fouled.

Super5s - PKYFA 5 aside festival

Two teams took part on Sunday but only 9 players meant sharing a 5th player between across both teams which didn't bother them at all. A great attitude.

Harry joined from the Fun 4's this week and he got stuck right in linking up well with the boys,. Joachim was great in goals & kept the defence in order. Ivan worked well at holding back the opposition and making some forward runs. Player of the Week was Mylo for his outstanding sportsmanship towards the opposition & team work.

BSYFC 2015s vs Bridge of Earn 2015 (U9s

Another good game again for the boys against Bridge of Earn with a very strong defence. All the players worked hard and they continue to grow as a team.

The inevitable sickness bugs doing the rounds meant they travelled with only 8 players but that didn't stop them from turning in a good performance. Leo earned Player of the Week for his superb saves in goal. Well done boys.

Jeanfield Yellows 2014 v BSYFC 2014 (U10s)

Breadalbane played their second game in the new league against Jeanfield Yellows at the Riverside with a healthy squad of ten players including new signing Alfie who will be a great asset once he settles into the team.

Jeanfield are a big, powerful side and started brighter but Breadalbane worked hard for the first 15 minutes with some last gasp tackles and brilliant saves from Jamie in goals. Breadalbane started to grow into the game, getting the ball wide creating opportunities which resulted in Liam firing in a well taken finish ⚽.

The second half saw a more more organised Breadalbane who were physically matching Jeanfield. Jacob T scoring a screamer from long range.

The team are getting used to playing stronger opposition in the new league and relishing the challenge. An even, close scoring game with every player continuing to work hard for one another. Coach Kempy gave Player of the Week to Jamie. His saves when Jeanfield were piling on pressure at the start were top drawer. His command of his area and communication with the rest of the team are exactly what is being asked of him from the Coaches. Well done Jamie.

The Coaches team talk afterwards underlined the massive improvement everyone and the team has made. More pleasingly, the work rate and attitude is first class.

Fair City 2012 v BSYFC 2013 (U11s)

Only 9 players today meant a hard shift for everyone but a really great performance.  A hatrick from Max ⚽⚽⚽ would earn him Player of the Week. There was also a double from Wilf ⚽⚽  and goals from Paul ⚽ and Marco ⚽  but the Coaches were hugely impressed with the defence. Matthew, Nestor and Paul were amazing and restricted Fair City to just a few half chances. Good shouting and distribution from Olly in goal too. Marco in midfield did so much running and got a well deserved goal. Ellie was playing some really nice passes. Ethan, Wilf and Max were always looking to get in behind the defence which was working nicely. Well done everyone.
