Players from our U14 Girls and youth teams were at New Douglas Park, Hamilton on Tuesday evening to cheer on FC Twente against Celtic in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
It was the first time either team had played in the Champions League, and there was absolutely no doubt where our Club loyalties lay after FC Twente were such great hosts during our U15s trip to Holland last year.
A cracking atmosphere for the girls to watch the professionals play and a double ⚽⚽ from Kayleigh van Dooren sealed a 0-2 for the Dutch visitors. The FC Twente players even came over afterwards to thank the Breadalbane Girls for their support which was very much appreciated.
